Form 2 resin tank clamp

I created this holder to stop the resin tank legs from breaking off.

Sometimes the build platform on the Form2 gets stuck to the resin tank, usually due to a suction effect in the first layers of the print, and the force of the Z axis going up breaks the legs of the resin tank, sometimes spilling resin everywhere.

This will prevent that from happening, but expect the printer to get stuck if this happens, the build platform wont go up, the wiper will hit the build platform and the printer will say that there is an obstruction (motors jammed) and stop printing.

Then it will be up to you to switch the printer off, carefully pull the tank forward (slowly), force the Z axis up enough for the legs of the tank to clear the base, unlatch the build platform and remove the tank with the build platform from the printer.

This usually happens when your print has many parts and there's not enough space between them for the resin to flow into to release the build platform from the tank. Try reducing the number of parts in your print.

I printed the ones I use out of ASA, Form Futura ApolloX, and use 3 on each side of the resin tank. I recommend using a strong but yet flexible material for this model, like ABS or Polycarbonate.
